Archive_01. Potsdam Meteorological Observatory

A serialized archival artwork consisting of 14 archival photographic silver on gelatin prints, each chemically altered according to historical climate data from the long-term meteorological archive of the Potsdam Meteorological Observatory (1893–2023) and progressively erased in relation to recorded temperature fluctuations.

Each print will be developed, printed, and bleached by the artist in Curiosity Lab Berlin.

The higher the recorded temperature in a given decade, the more the image disappears, which features the very instrument that helped record it.

The prints come inside a custum box designed by the artist.
